Sustainability as a core principle in our company

OUR COMMITMENT

Responsibility as a core principle

KUPA assumes social, ecological, and economic responsibility. Our goal: sustainable production conditions throughout the entire supply chain. We do not see sustainability as a short-term trend, but as a long-term commitment to our employees, partners, and the environment. Through continuous improvement of our processes and standards, we create value that goes beyond purely economic aspects.

  • Social commitment

Voluntary support for social projects and initiatives (locally and internationally). Focus on fairness, respect, and solidarity.

  • employee engagement

Promotion of further training and long-term retention, health and occupational safety programs.

  • Responsibility in supply chains

Implementation and monitoring of ethical standards (BSCI, Accord, etc.). Regular audits and inspections.

CERFICATES AND STANDARDS

Proven quality and safety

Here you can find our certificates and standards, aligned with our values

As a member of amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), we are committed to fair and humane working conditions in all production facilities. Through regular audits, training, and transparent processes, we promote social standards and foster a collaborative partnership with our suppliers. This is how fashion is created with respect for people and the environment.

As a BSCI participant, we actively work to ensure compliance with the above-mentioned goals throughout our supply chain. Our Corporate Social Responsibility Managers provide intensive consulting, support, and monitoring of our suppliers to guarantee the reliable implementation of these standards. Independent inspectors, as well as internal and external auditing procedures, contribute to greater transparency, control, and continuous improvement in production countries.

Since 2013, we have been part of the International Accord and are committed to health, safety, and dignity in textile production. The Accord stands for binding safety standards, independent factory inspections, and open communication within the supply chain. Our long-term commitment helps make workplaces safer worldwide.

All our products are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® – one of the strictest and most recognized testing standards worldwide. Every material, every yarn, and every accessory is tested for harmful substances to ensure the highest product safety and quality.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) represents the highest ecological and social standards in textile production worldwide – from organically grown fibers to the fairly manufactured end product. GOTS-certified textiles guarantee environmentally friendly materials, fair working conditions, and transparent supply chains.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) stands for products with a high proportion of recycled materials. The label guarantees a traceable recycling chain, environmentally friendly processing, and fair working conditions – for greater responsibility throughout the entire production process.

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) identifies products that contain recycled materials. It ensures transparency and traceability throughout the supply chain – a clear sign of sustainable resource use.

Cotton made in Africa (CmiA) stands for sustainably grown cotton from Africa, produced under socially, ecologically, and economically responsible conditions. The label empowers African smallholder farmers, protects the environment through resource-saving cultivation methods, and promotes decent working conditions throughout the supply chain.

The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) stands for animal welfare and sustainable wool production. The label guarantees that the wool comes from sheep raised under responsible conditions – free from mulesing, with high animal welfare standards, environmentally friendly grazing management, and fair working conditions throughout the supply chain.
